| It is difficult for me
to view the objects I create as commodities. The motivation prompting their
creation hardly includes consideration of monetary compensation. However,
read on if you please... Many of these objects require a considerable expenditure of money by myself to acquire the materials used in their production. I will continue to produce art works, even without a cash return, but some income from them would assist in creating more of them. Additionally, many of these pieces are large, requiring substantial space for viewing and storage. Finding agreeable homes for them, where they are cared for and appreciated, is a happy solution. Finally, it is recognized by this artist that potential buyers must make a real commitment to the work and the artist thru purchase. For the buyer, as well as creator, the artwork requires an expenditure of time, effort and space, not to mention the cash for purchase. This is understood and appreciated. Therefore, should you be a potential buyer of these works, I will be most pleased to discuss their prices with you, as well as to talk about any other particulars. FYI, most of the works currently fall into a price range of $750 to $5,000. Thank you very much. Gary John Gresl |
